Located on a small quiet street almost exactly in-between the Gothic Quarter and Born at the epicenter of both districts, you will get the absolute best of both worlds: the history and ancient Roman streets of the Gothic Quarter plus the Medieval and Bohemian charm of El Born. That’s why our apartment is literally surrounded on all sides with countless restaurants, bars, and cafes! There’s even a restaurant/bar on our street corner, just 5 seconds away! The massive and famous “Santa Caterina” Fresh Food Market that’s been running since the 19th century is at your door step! Between the huge selection of fresh food and our beautiful and fully-equipped kitchen, you won’t need to eat out to eat great! We’ve even included an English-language book with amazing and unique Catalan recipes for you to explore and enjoy! And when we say at your door step, we’re not kidding, the Santa Caterina market is only 45m / 150ft from the door of our building!

Unlike most apartments in the city which have Queen size beds with substandard mattresses, we have a full King Size bed (NOT 2 singles joined!) in the Master Bedroom plus 2 Twin/Single beds in the 2nd bedroom, all with Top-class mattresses from the leading Mattress brand in Spain (Pikolin) so that you rest well and can recharge for your next day. The 2 Twin/Single beds can also be joined to form a 2nd King Size Bed, just let us know we’ll leave it all ready for you! We also offer a Crib/Cot made in Germany for your Baby so that they can sleep in peace and you don’t have to worry! Just let us know in advance and we’ll set it up for you!

Most tourist apartments in Barcelona use Ikea linens, which use a mixture of polyester and cotton sheets and are mediocre at best. We treat our guests with strictly 100% Egyptian Cotton (percale & combed!) high thread count Linens & Towels for a luxurious feel you won’t find anywhere else except expensive hotels! That’s right, 100% of our linens and towels are 100% Egyptian Cotton! Did we say luxury?

Don’t bother bringing or buying power adapters for Spain/EU. We have installed universal power adapters in every single living space (even the kitchen & bathroom!) so that you can plug in ALL your electric appliances no matter where you are! Just make sure they can handle the 220V we have here in Europe!

As the owner of Orange Donut Tours, I run 2 Free Walking Tours of the historic Gothic Quarter every day Monday through Saturday, so I am very accustomed to interacting with and helping all visitors of this beautiful city! Of course, when they are guests in my own home, I am even more open to interacting with them and answering any and all questions at ANY time!
